Hi! Welcome to the first post at AutomateYourWorkflow.com! This new blog will be 100% focused on topics associated with workflow automation and business process management.

The business world is now faster paced than ever before, largely due to technology. It’s kinda funny that we marvel over how much time each new gadget will save us, and then proceed to cram that “saved time” full of other deadlines and things to keep us busy. The point is, when you’re moving at the pace we are in 2007, mistakes happen and steps get missed. That’s what workflow automation is all about- erasing the mistakes, accounting for all of the steps and keeping you firing on all cylinders.

It wasn’t too long ago that workflow automation was a luxury, reserved exclusively for the Fortune 500- the movers and shakers in every industry. It carried a price tag that put it out of reach to most small and medium sized businesses. The end result was a firm wedge drawn between the most successful companies and the up and comers. I mean, how can a small business compete with a large one if they’re not even playing in the same league?

But all of that’s changed now. There are now some great business process software solutions that are affordable in anyone’s price range. This blog is about sharing stories and examples of how businesses of all sizes can and have used workflow automation to add efficiency and manageability to their processes. Hopefully you’ll have a story of your own to share from time to time in our comments, or you’ll be able to learn from someone else’s.
